overhead consoles for bt50

Has any one got console from department of interior are they good .am looking putting 1 in new bt50 to mount uhf  radio I had it mounted on left side of console but couldn't see it from drivers seat . Was unlucky on way home from work when twin cab come out from left   at high speed both vehicles write off

Sorry you wrote it off mate. I find the console very good and they will design it to suit your needs > I would send the radio etc to them to fit. Pics of mine in a Hilux earlier in this thread.

Bugger about the write off, hope you [and yours] weren't hurt at all.

As for the console, we have one & it is great as we wanted to get the uhf out of the way. When mounted, it is a bit hard to see what channel you are on, but I pre-set it and if I have to change it, I get SWMBO to do it.
