Hervey Bay.........A really big ask???
« on: May 05, 2013, 05:57:38 PM »
This is a really big ask but if I don't ask it could be an opportunity missed  :D

I am attempting to buy a little puppy from PetRescue. The people who are caring for baby Ace live in Hervey Bay and the freight costs I was quoted are more than the puppy.  So I was wondering if anyone camping in that area or are passing through over the next few days and heading to or returning to Cairns where we live could give this little fellow a ride to Cairns.

Or alternatively, if you are going to Brisbane, drop him at a given address.

You could ask some of the swaggers who are heading to the cape.
There are a few heading off this month.

 Good luck and

Thanks everyone, and big thank you to you and your wife Alan.  Do you know what time your wife would be arriving in Brisbane, ideally if the puppy could be dropped off at Dog Tainers near the airport at midday Saturday the little fellow could be here in Cairns about 4pm.

You can private message or email
me if you want :D

Well it looks like the Moons have lined up for you Hollowaymoon, My wife has to pick my Daughter up from the Brisbane Airport at 10am. She would need to drop him off then as she would not have time to wait around till midday. Also she would need to pick up Ace Friday afternoon as she will be leaving Hervey Bay around 5AM.

If that all works for you lwt me know and I will PM you my wifes mobile to make final arrangements.

Regards
Alan.

Not sure about moons lining up, I am overthe moon, and thank you for making this possible.  ;D
I will purchase a container in Hervey Bay from a pet shop (can you recommend one, one near you?)

I have just spoken to Petflyers and they asked if Ace could be dropped off at 9.40am at Toll at the

airport, if this is possible he'll be on the 11.20 flight.

It would be great to speak with your wife to arrange things in detail.  It is so nice to know there are helpful people out there.

Pet Rescue said he is very cheeky, and so i guess at only 9 weeks old we will have a lot of time for mischief over the next couple of years.  He will come bush camping with us, so he'll be tough  :D :D

Great news, and excellent work everyone.

My wife and daughter want one just like him, but sadly, a new pup just doesn't fit our plans......
