Aussie Campers & Trailers Aussie deluxe Hard Floor
« on: February 27, 2013, 09:40:54 PM »
Hey all,

Been looking on the forum for a few weeks now, and I am about to order my new (first) camper.

I dropped into Aussie Campers and Trailers today and found their Aussie Deluxe Hard Floor Camper, Looks like a good trailer, has all the bells and whistle you could as for, and lets says the price looks right.

http://www.aussiecampersandtrailers.com.au/camper-trailers/aussie-deluxe.html

I have done some looking on google and on her and can not see anything about any of there campers.  I dont know id thats a good thing or a bad thing....  The Guys there told me they import the box form "their factory" in china, but assemble everything on site in Brisbane.

I am looking at ordering this tomorrow morning, does anyone know of these guys and if they are any good?

Thanks

Gordon

How much are they asking for it Gordon?

You need to really inspect this closely and if you have a mate who is mechanically minded have him have a look at it to.

Are you planning on do a big trip or local / weekend trips, what type of usage will it get essentially?

Some of these work out well but some are pieces of Shit.

Cheers Nomad.

Thanks for the reply Nomad, the price is well... very good, about what I was planning on spending on a soft floor, less the $10k, it is a factory second, he has shown me the defects and I am happy to live with that.

I will be doing some off road work, mostly to get to a camp site.  heading out for a week or a weekend...

Thanks Nomad, a little more the $6k, but I see it as a great deal...

I did get a mate who owns a camper, and has been working on Military vehicles for years, to have a look at it today, he said it looked like a great deal and would buy one if he was in the market...

I'll let you know tomorrow if I place the order...  ;D
