Hi Guys.
While i dont have an Expander, our Hawk handover took about 2 hours. From the time you get in make sure that it is on power and the fridge is on 240. Check that the fridge has started to cool as you maybe the first one to find it doesn't work. Check also the operation of an extras you have ordered. Apart from that, enjoy.

On every camper I get, first thing is suspension U bolts and wheel nuts.

Don't forget tyre pressure.

Yes Luke, you will spend a few hours going through it all. They will check off all the extras, show you how to set out the beds etc.. Are you getting an annex? If so get them to show you how to put it up.... much easier than working it out yourself.

Some of the things I had a good look at on my swan were:
  • Fridge working - they should have this connected (ask them to make sure that it is running when you arrive to do the handover). when I got it home I double checked and ran it on gas (if it has gas) and power for a couple of days....What fridge are you getting?
Look at all cupboards, fittings etc just to make sure they are ok.
Have a close look at the finish of the fabric and laminate
check the canvas on the beds and the pop up (vinyl?) for any rips/holes
make sure internal/external lights and any other gadgets that you have fitted work
They will hook you up and check the brake lights
they will take you for a drive up the road to ensure that you brake controller is set ok.

That's about all I can think of.

Cheers

Scott
