Hoping to upgrade to this from a soft floor camper at some stage and would like to know how dust proof the Jayco's are and if there is anything we should be looking out for...... thanks

We get a bit of dust inside - Think its through the fridge vents on outside and the stupid door vent on the inside ...

I'm still trying to work out a way of covering all 3 to stop dust when travelling but still allow airflow when stopped ..
Don't like the idea of fully closing them as I may forget to take covers off !! Thinking of a backward facing funnel shaped
cover ??
No dust gets in through the roof parts ( unless you leave the roof vent open !! ) 

Its a great piece of kit though

Can u put a piece of material like on your home air conditioner in there it seems to trap dust very well.

It needs a lot of airflow to keep the fridge efficient .. I just thought an air scoop with the opening pointing to the rear might be the go ??  M

I thought you need positive pressure to keep the dust out.  So a vent that faces forward but with a filter much like rally cars use;

Dazzler - Yes mate thought about them but the vents on the Penguin are fairly big and are on the side - Don't really want to cut holes in the roof
to add those type vents to create enough pos pressure - Plus you have to open and close them - I want something I can set and forget -
Some Jayco owners have travel covers which they take off on arrival at camp - I just thought that the airscoop idea could stay on , would keep dust ( most of it maybe ) and rain out but still allow a fair bit of airflow ... Its still in the thinking department for approval .. M

It's just the positive pressure u need. How you get it is the issue. Lol.
