Has anyone been to Halls Pass campground, Oxley Rivers NP?

Hey all

I was reading through an old 4wding mag and there was a report in there about halls peak campground at Oxley rivers NP near Armidale NSW. Has anyone been there that can give me a bit of info about the place.

Yep a mate has sent off his paper work to go camping there in September and they have knocked back his camper trailer.  It is a top spot but very steep and they don't want you taking camper trailers there

Spoke to my mate again yesterday and he said that NP are now not allowing camper trailers down to Halls Peak at all.   Changing the forms etc so no go for a trailer.  It is a top spot deep in the raven but if you wish to camp there you will have tent it.
