Engle Fridge Query
« on: June 17, 2012, 03:51:54 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I have a new Engle Eclipse 38 litre fridge. It works perfect off of my car cigarette lighter socket but I would also like to use it with a stand alone 12v battery for when I do not have 240v. what do I have to do to be able to use my Engle this way. My old system had a 2 pin Polarised Plug from the battery with a normal female cigarette lighter end but this does not work with the Engle could anyone help me with this.

Thanking you

Suziq.

Hi Suziq. This should be as simple as a female cigarette plug with two clamps so you can connect it to your other battery. The plug and clamp setup is useful for connecting a bunch of things from time to time.

Thank You Big Jules,

Thank you for your help. We bought a new female socket that is compatable with the Engle male socket & changed the battery clips to a 2 pin plug. Works a treat. Once again thank you.
