Dunno how many NRL fans are here....but one of the games legends is about to call it quits
Parramatta Eels Captain Nathan Hindmarsh announced his retirement from the game today :'(
Champion player.......Champion Bloke  :cup:and a true ambassador for the game of Rugby League
A shame Parra couldnt give a premiership to reward his loyalty to a club he loved

Shame that the others in the Parrathetic side [and yes I am a Parra supporter] didn't put in the same effort as Hindy...maybe they would have won a premiership.

Maybe it shouldn't be too much of a surprise after his comments last week.

One of the few that puts all he has into every game. Not a Parra fan, but he has always been good to watch.

A sportsman in every sense.

What a shame for the fans. Guess he has just had enough.

Very few players in this day and age play their whole career with one club. An honest worker on the field, nothing too flashy but a great player.

Whether he retired due to Parra's current woes or not I don't know but I think he would of struggled to go round again next season anyway. There is talk in the papers that he would not be offered a contract for next season as well as some other long termers, Burt, Shackleton etc.
A very big dissapointment he couldn't be rewarded with a grand final victory, an absolute legend of the game. He has a little bit to do with our junior club as well.
This EELS supporter had a tear in his eye today.
