Only seen them on the net, they looked a bit rough in the finish. Also I believe they use cheap components, but still worth a look

G,day Mate,

I was in at Westlat today having a look at there trailers and tents...The trailers are of a very high quality and there tents although made in China are of a fantastic quality , The bloke told me they got a tent made here and then sent it over to China and wanted them made to his specs.... i sold my on road camper last year that had a chinese canvas tent on it and the ripstop one that Westlat sell looks a far better quality this is why i am going to buy a full offroad package from them...Hope this helps a little.

Brendan.

We have had one of these for several years and it is our first camper. I have found it to be a very good basic camper at a very reasonable price. The trailer is very tough and yes the tent is imported but we have had no problems at all with it.

If you are interested in Westlat I would strongly recommend going and having a chat to Dean about what you want. Good bloke to talk to and he camps in his own product. He is also quite flexible around what you want to do to the trailer but modifying the tent could be a bit more trouble.

good luck in the hunt
Getting there if half the fun

The other half is a cold beer when you do.

We purchased our Westlat CT  in November 2011 which Dean built to my specifications, it included the 7ft side fold trailer tent. The tent we love due to the small size for overnight stays and a removeable zip on/off annex. The trailer is of solid construction and built to match the towing capacity of my Suzuki GV, a good package.

cheers
