What a hero.

Lets hope none of your family ever suffer from muscular dystrophy.

Hope it made you feel good.

Yep. Made me feel good, hence the smile. As for you thinking me a hero, thanks for your wishes. And by the way, it has absolutely no difference to the charity which I have supported many times, but get stuffed anyway.

Topped up the diesel at Caltex this morning at $1.495.
Went in to pay and the shiela flashed a laminated flyer and asked if I wanted to donate $2.00 to the Mater Little Miracles.
I said I'll do better than that, I'll donate 20 cents per litre to them and she smiled.
Then I said just take it out of the price I was forced into paying by the thieving bastard servo owners, and the smile dropped faster than lightning.
Made me smile.
Don't forget the chick behind the counter is probably on $15 an hour and doesn't set the prices.
Bought a what?

Spot on Jusy Apples, no point in taking your anger out on the servo staff, pricing is not under their control. I have always felt that those in retail get the tough end of the stick sometimes with customer taking out there frustrations on them
Yes, there are times you need to make a complaint but in can be done politely and by presenting the facts, take the emotion out of it.
I like everyone else get frustrated by the fluctuations in fuel prices but I do like to support my local servo as it employs local kids but I will try and buy when the cycle is right.

Yesterday I got invited to the West Coast/Port Adelaide game, in a corporate box no less. As much food/alcohol as I could squeeze in, taxi there and back paid for. Went to the Casino afterwards and won $130. Bloody good day, finally my loyalty to my supplier has paid off hahaha!!!!

I actually lost the $130 again but that's beside the point, at least I walked home with the same amount of cash as I left. I don't drink beer so I wasn't sure what I was going to drink, when I get there they have Gage Road cider on tap, the alcohol gods were looking down on me yesterday I tell ya, all the stars were lining up!!!! The only downer is by the time I got home the missus was asleep.....

I said nothing in anger. It must be difficult to some people to believe things can be said without anger. I said it made me smile. You want to put your own interpretation on it to feel good, go for it and feel upset for no reason. As for earning $18/hr, it's a personal choice. If you work at a brothel you will see hookers and drunken marks. Work at a doctors you will see sick people. Work at a servo and you will get some people expressing thier views, and not necessarily anger, although it will happen. And this Sheila was probably in her fifties, so maybe you can start whinging now about abusing middle aged women. Again you would be wrong but jumping to conclusions send to work well here.

Terra vista, I'm not angry or upset, just a bit of commentary on working in retail in general. I know of a young man who was attacked by a disgruntled customer, just taking it a bit far I'd reckon.
I'm sorry if you feel you were attacked personally it was not my intention.
Sometimes the written word is interpreted differently by different people.
