I have learnt that it is bloody hard to ride a motorbike after a local anesthetic,  arthrogram and mri on a shoulder.......
I can imagine Evo.

Hardest "ride on a motorbike" I've had was when I used to go through the KFC drive-through, and then need to balance my lunch on the tank all the way back to the office. A close second was when you had an esky full of beers and ice strapped to the back of the bike (can we say centre-of-gravity??). But I dare say that neither of those scenarios come close to your ride! A+ for Effort!

Cheers,
Matto :)

but Couldn't make it work.
I may have cheated and pulled over to wait for the feeling to come back in my arm.........

I've done the slab in the backpack trick, never the whole esky!

I learned that some people just can't help but be d!ckheads.... How about when the CFA volunteers are out trying to stop your houses burning down, keep out of their way and let them? Why people feel the need to go out and "see how bad it is" just baffles me. So perhaps the lesson is some people are born d!cks....

I learnt that aluminium is hot after you cut it with an angle grinder :-[

You weren't playing around with mobile cranes this morning were you?

Today I learned I shouldn't have bare feet when picking up the barkers eggs in the back yard.
Discovered a fairly fresh one cunningly hidden in a longer patch of grass :'(

Today Tonight I learnt that I really don't care if Schapelle Corby is innocent or guilty!

Just tried watching that telemovie on CH9.  Bored after 10 minutes and turned off after 15.

I got bored with the ads. Why they insist on making a series about a convicted drug smuggler I will never know. Her or her family should not be glorified in anyway.

what happens if it was you in her place, if you had gone there for a holiday and then discovered drugs in your bag?

how would you want people back home to think of you?

please dont reply and say that she is guilty etc.

lets play with this question for a while..
You are innocent, you went there or anywhere, and then it was discovered that there was drugs or something illegal in your bag. HOW would you want people back home to think?

Our prison system is full of innocent people, just ask them and most of their families!  Do they all get plenty of media coverage and TV deals when they get out?

(Please note the sarcasm in my voice as you read this, personally I don't give a stuff if she is guilty or innocent, I am sick of hearing about it when there is so much real news happening!)

People will always make their own mind up on what they see, hear or know.  The question is , I am innocent, so I collect my boogie board bag from the carousel and grap it and think to myself, gee is this my bag?, it seem a lot heavier, bigger than just the boogie board I packed at home. Ummm I would leave it and walk away, after ripping the tag of it.

I learnt that while getting flashed over (fire burning all around you) on a fire ground, a 78 series land cruiser ute will do at least 100 in reverse when the drivers seat is sucked a fair way into the pucker valve!!!

I got caught in a similar position back in 94. I was in a Mazda t3500 (cat7 in nsw ) then, and I scares the crapper out of you.

11years in the service, never once had it happen until now, quite happy if it never happens again too!

I learnt that when putting out spot fires after the front has gone thru. Dont put out the worst one first, put out the one closest to your truck. That way the boys around you wont take the piss out of you when you burn a hole in your hose.
I also learnt (re-learnt) that 100mph tape is still the best thing in your toolbox when your in a hurry:'(

Peter,

I would not care less about what a bunch of total strangers, completely irrelevant to my case think of me.
I'd be focusing on my legal defence and what the judge and jury think of me.  Not hiring PR people and allowing my family and friends to keep feeding the media circus and doing paid interviews.
There could be CCTV footage and witness statements proving you've been framed, but there will always be people you will think you are guilty in some way.
