ebay bargain NOT,

wanted some lightweight chairs and saw these on ebay:

bought 2 of these for $66.18 each. One was ok but the other never felt right from the get go.

after about 2 hours use it was starting to rip the fabric, on the second day my butt was almost through.

BTW we each weigh 85kg. they are rated to 330lbs (150kg)

asked for a refund but the seller just says "We can give you a partial refund, and you can stitch it."

WTF is wrong with these "A" holes

eBay/PayPal dispute??

That response is ok for AliExpress, but not eBay Australia where the ACL provides protection

Huh?
one seller has this on all his auctions..

"EBAY are now strictly implying the Off eBay Sales policy to remind everyone that if there is no recorded transaction on eBay, members are not allowed to give out information about the listing, talk about item specifics and give contact details(phone number, email, complete address). As such we are unable to answer any questions to do with this item till this item is purchased by you."

surely this is manure and just an arsehat seller? your not allowed to ask questions anymore?

Name and shame, I'm sure some one out there can write up your comments in the sellers native Language (if it isn't English).
Or were they using an imperial scale in Lbs. and forgot to divide by 2.4 for the weight figures?

sellers name is on the listing.

I always give the seller the chance to come good and they are sounding more like refunding now?
Either that or stalling until 30 days are up and I can't dispute?

As soon as you contacted the seller about the matter the dispute officially started as far as ebay and PayPal are concerned.
The seller can stall all they want but it won’t do them any good.
I’ve had it happen to me a time or two.
On both occasions as soon as  ebay and PayPal saw that I had sent messages to the sellers within a week of receiving the items they told the sellers to pull their heads in and make it right.
So as long as you sent a message to the seller within 30 days of receiving your item you should be good...

Not ebay,  but this dropped into my mail.

If you are looking for short range UHF's (only 1/2 watt) for around the campsite, it seems a reasonable price. $65 for a three pack.

And they are colourful so you can find them more easily when the kids lose them.  ;D

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Holden-Factory-Camper-May-suit-GTS-Monaro-buyer/133045761175

This is a rare factory Holden Freeway Camper. These were sold new from Holden & are destined to be very collectible.
I’ve owned it for approximately 13 years.
I haven’t used it very much in the time I’ve owned it.
I used to use it for the occasional weekend away & always had it on full A.C.T. Registration I put 5 new light truck tyres on it. I’ve always done oil & filter changes.
I’ve replaced both the gearbox & the Diff. & can say that the running gear is very good. I stopped using it altogether about 4 years ago & that hasn’t done it any favours. I recently changed the fuel pump & got it running again.
It has some rust  that will require rust  repairs  . The back of it was redone before I got it & is functional. The fridge & stove were working great when I last used it & am confident they are still ok but I  haven’t tested them. It has been leak free over the years but now has some evidence of leaking. It needs It will need some restoration so don’t think it’s a bit of a tidy up will have it done. This Van would suit a classic car enthusiast that would like a very cool looking rare collectible Holden that can be easily put on club registration & still use it for what it was built for . It cruises along doing the speed limit comfortably & & is perfect for a couple. Located near Yass N.S.W.

Lol. “May suit GTS Monaro buyer”

Could just imagine the conversation down at the club meeting next week; “I was searching for a clean V8 Monaro but got this fully sick camper instead...”
