There you go.  You city slickers are more edumacated than as country lads and it takes us a while to catch up with the news.  Thanks for pointing that out though  ;D  Oh, and everybody I asked, didn't know about it either so it was news to them also  :D

nah. An extra zero on the end.....

Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

I was thinking that too.   It's not original and has a modern radio/CD in the dash.   The paint is too thick and glossy for a 1970's car even straight from the factory.
Look under the bonnet; 10,000km in almost thirty years is hard to believe.

just pure go anywhere ability.

Sadly it wouldn't get anywhere near a coil sprung shorty but a sweet ride all the same
My alternative to cheap import trailers;

I am not a Toyota fan, but all of the bush tracks around this wonderful country of ours that we drive on today in our comfortable coil sprung 4x4's were forged by this style Toyota, Landrover, Nissan and the like.

That's not an original though, didn't the LS coupe have the honey comb rims? I may be mistaken, please feel free to tell me to get back in my box.

They were a beautiful car.
