Thanks for the warm welcome all, We are down in sth gippsland not far from phillip island in vic,and the plan is to buy or build a trailer and get one of those outback camper tops fitted and camp and camp and camp somemore. Very keen to do some touring with the good lady and trailer.

G'day & Welcome.
I've got an Outback Camper, best soft top tent I've seen, though the colours are a bit dated. They make a good, solid trailer, though again some design elements are highly functional but old fashioned.

Welcome aboard ;D
-
Thanks bushman,

HI bigjules, sounds like you have good taste in canvas, and i agree about the colour thing but recon it would hide that red dust well.as for the trailer i'd like leaf springs nice and simple, easy to service and repair.apart from that the rest is pretty much a provern winner. have a couple things in mind to do differently
-
Welcome dno. Like Gunna said, it's a great site, have fun. One thing I've noticed though - they do love pictures.
