Hi Fizzie,

Yes, this is a low pressure regulated appliance, so it is compatible with bayonet hoses.

What makes it a little annoying, is that it's 1/4" BSP.  Which is not a fitting that's particularly common on most Bayonet hoses.

Bayonet hoses are commonly 3/8" BSP to Bayonet.  Like this one we sell:

So, IMO, for spare hose convenience in future, it's worth adapting it to this. (ring burners last forever, but hoses do deteriorate over time)

Unfortunately, my supplier is out of stock on this brass adapter at the moment, so I need to send you to Bunnings for that at the moment sorry.
