Title: Earthquake
Post by: Steffo1 on May 31, 2022, 05:35:16 PM
I'd just lit the indoor fire at 13:15 today, as it was 17° and very windy. I wandered outside to see how the smoke was coming out of the flue, when there was this very loud bang/thump, with shaking of the ground a nanosecond later. I felt like the mayor of Hiroshima, thinking WTF was that!
Turns out it was a Magnitude 3 earthquake, with the epicentre about 4 km from home.

I'd hate to hear or feel a mag. 7!
