Hey all
Looking at new drawers likely drifters . Notice just about everyone offers an Intergrated fridge slide nowadays . Ive always used the original style metal one with folded up edges . Curious on those with the Intergrated how they find them ? Does the fridge move ? Or slides not as solid?
I've got the integrated one on my Titan draws
Hardly ever use it as stuff falls Into the draw when you slide it forward
Been thinking of putting a slide on top even with the added weight

Maybe add a divider to stop stuff falling in?
I prefer a low profile fridge like an ARB35L.
No need to slide it out to access the goodies....
I've got a set of Drifta draws and the integrated slide...
Mine though only has one draw on the RHS with the fridge slide on the left.
I love it... when not using the fridge, there is a piece that fits over the gap to create a full flat surface again...
Integrated table is a beauty, too...

I can open my 35L Engel without having to slide it out, so can access a cold one
A divider isn't a bad idea but I sometimes store stuff behind the fridge
Not that I've looked for long time, are drop slides still silly $?

Yep, and silly weight....
Thanks guys , yeah not interested in drop slide . Just seems like complication and weight I don't want. Just trying to decide to keep with conventional slide or Intergrated. I VE got a ARB 47l
Agree with the weight being high with a drop down fridge slide, the price is high but depends on how, when and where you buy it. I have one and think its great. I built my drawers to my own specs and got maximum depth in them with my fridge in the slide. Without it my wife cannot get into the fridge, I would need a step to get to see what was where in it and to reach the bottom. Each to their own but happy how it is. The big drawback is if I need to put something in the back, say something biggish the width of the draws I can't, slide is in the way. It has to come out or the back seat come in to play.
I have a set of Titan drawers and had the same issue of stuff falling down the gap.
As a quick fix I had a piece of chipboard a bit wider than the drawer and as long as the unused part of the slide. A batten on the bottom of each side allows the drawer to move and chipboard to stay. Works a treat
