Likewise to everyone from me as well.
Make the best of it people, your only here once.
That's despite differing beliefs held by others, they haven't proved it's a merry-go-round yet.

happy new year to all.
Stacks of local fireworks (like stacks of) around here and makes you wonder how they
1 - procure them let alone wondering
2 - why no thought of or concern for the potential fire risk in the farm grasslands surrounding us.
Caught up with the neighbour this morning and his black lab that was locked up safely in the laundry has demolished the skirts, arch’s & plaster walls......

They are classed as explosives & if you get caught with them unlicensed you could be in DeepDoDo

do they still have fireworks shops in South Australia these days?.....years ago they did (would have been 20 years ago i'm talking here), if you were from out of state you could just show your drivers licence to prove it and buy certain ones to your hearts content, but you weren't allowed to let them off in South Australia was all....or get caught with them in your own state...lol.

my arse is very explosive at times, so that permit should cover it ;D

No fireworks shops in SA, I'm in South Oz and we haven't had fireworks since the late 70s early eighties I reckon. Used to love fireworks night as a kid, all the local kids would pool their fireworks and have a great Ol time.

About the same time frame here.. but it was all the deadShits blowing up Shit that stopped it..
Can you imagine the chaos these days if they were freely available like they were in the 70s??

we bought ours from a shop at Port Augusta in the early to mid 90's, you still had them then. I didn't finish high school until 1988, then it was a few years after that I became a Carpenter and a few more years after that before visiting South Australia on an Endevour Car Rally with those work mates, which is when we bought them.

Time gets away from you, I'd been working for 12 years by 1988, I don't remember them too much in the eighties.
