Yeah, I know, Facebook is a dirty word with some of you, but just for a change, take the blinkers off and have a look at this group
https://www.facebook.com/groups/453169665130507/ (https://www.facebook.com/groups/453169665130507/)
It has been formed to try and bring a lot of diverse groups together and present a united face to the greens and governments to prevent the wholesale locking up of vast tracts of land, particularly, in Victoria, with the proposed "Great Forrest National Park "
Every time the greenies get a toe in they lock YOU out, so stop sitting back and complaining about it, get off of your backsides, have a look at this group, join up and add YOUR voice to the campaign.
So if you like
camping with or without your dog
fishing
prospecting
hunting
horse riding
4wd'ing
Join this group and make your voice heard

Joined. We have similar issues on the north coast of NSW with the planet destroyers wanting to create the Great Koala National Park which put simply will mean every existing National Park and State Forest between about Kempsey and the Qld border from the coast to the tablelands changed to one big National Park to protect the Koalas by locking everyone out. how good a fire do you reckon that one will be, hope you like you Koala well done.

Thanks for the link i joined up,
Going to have a look for local groups aswell
Just over every where being locked up because of things like old forest or aboriginal artifacts (west coast of tas) insted of locking us out let us see them. I think it always down to a few idots that wreck it for eveyone. My dad tells me of all these places he use to camp and 4wd and i would say 90% of them are locked up and i think what about my son its hard for us now to see certin spots will he be able to show his own kids one day? We live in a amazing place and we need to be able to explore it.
Also im not having a dig at aboriginals my wifes 3rd generation and even she thinks it silly
