Title: I can't believe i did this..... stupidity at a new low.
Post by: Jeepers Creepers on June 06, 2018, 03:38:44 PM: I've had a small issue with the interior light on the Camry i'm putting up for sale shortly.
I also, detest anything electric or related, as i'm not always that bright.

So, wifey and I headed down to see FSShane on the coast.

With a meter on the battery and Christ knows what else, Shane had me operating the door locks, as sometimes, the interior light would flicker momentarily as the locks engaged.

He had me do it a few times, back and forward and then ask me to start the car.

I attempted to start the fukkin thing with the key in door..... ???
The horn let out a little beep, but not content to be a little bit stupid, I tried it again. :-[

I blurted out.. "oh, fukking thing won't start now" and then I,...... I just...
I quickly whipped the key out and put it in the ignition.
It fired up fine then and I just stood there, trying really hard to look clever.

Astrid and Shane just looked at each other with a look I've never seen before..... it wasn't good either.

Can't believe I did that today.

What is it a BCM problem or just the switch.

I take it Shane checked the fusible link on the battery?
Most common problem and easiest to fix.
