Title: Jayco Eagle front awning strap
Post by: brianvicki on May 03, 2018, 03:10:06 PM
We have 2 black straps on our 2011 eagle camper, which hold the awning bag down whilst driving, one strap has busted, and I noticed the straps are stitched into the awning bag, is there a secret to replacing the strap easily.

A coupe of mine recently snapped (perished) within a couple of weeks of each other. I've not done anything about replacing them so will be interested in seeing any replies.

I assume unless you are handy with a speedy stitcher or something similar it will be a trip to a canvas mob to get a new one stitched in.

Get some new webbing and one of these    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNFMzAEW0V0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNFMzAEW0V0)           from Ebay aprox  $20 > $30  either that or a couple of Occy straps .
