Title: Where does the water go after it rains?

Although most understand the principal that water does not run up hill and the Great Dividing Range is called such I thought thie attached link was a good read and thread topic.
I love following and camping along river systems as a destination for trips and when at home sitting and watching my own river front

Is the water in Cooper Creek likely to effect the Bid Red Bash ???
