This bloke fired up a chainsaw at Junction Pools Barrington tops at 6am this morning!
If you by chance are on here, or if anyone knows the car, please let him know I left a note for the ranger. I also hope he gets a scorching case of herpes.

Are you sure it was him? His rear window hasn't been smashed in by the rest of the campsite?

wrong section oops

There isn't any loose firewood at Junction Pools. What the hell was he chopping up? Or down?
Lovely spot.

We were the only ones there, this idiot was down the hill on the river bank, I thought it wa- poor form when he had a chainsaw last night at 5, but whatever. 6am is just plain bloody rude. If he didn’t have kids down there.....moron

sadly they seem to be breeding at an alarming rate which takes the enjoyment away.

I was at Smoky Cape a while back with the fam when a bunch of P-platers showed up for a party. They rocked all night, made a bit of noise, but I didn't worry too much because I was young once upon a time too. It wasn't until shortly before 6am when there were several long blasts of a car horn that I got annoyed. Was a young bloke in a GQ ute. Caught him coming down the track, chatted with him for a bit about the 4WD access beach in front of the campground and then at the end said "you know honking your horn at 6am in a campground makes you a dick, right?" He got very sheepish and said "yeah, that was my mate." Hopefully he'll keep his mate under control next time.

Even if it was his own wood, and apart from it being a nat park, at 6am ??
If I was there, my missus would be complaining that bad, I'd have to go over and complain, if only to get away from her !!! Lol

We had a tool start his chainsaw up at about 830pm in the middle of the Ah Youngs campsite in the Buckland Valley over the easter weekend, place was full of families most of which had just put their kids to bed (including us), I really wanted to shove the damn saw up his arse, didn't surprise me though as very few brain cells and a lack of courtesy obviously runs in the family as his kids had pinched a homeless chicks fire wood (who was camping in the camp ground) when she was in town with her young fella. The look on their faces when there fellow campers dobbed them in a made them return the wood was priceless. I think the dad was pretty embarrassed by it as he was out fishing when they did it.

You weren't really noisey the night before were you? Had a party down the road a yr or so ago that went into the we hours, the new neighbour of his just so happened to have his car alarm go of early in the morning, right next to the fence of where they were all trying to sleep on the other side. Was a little annoying for me, but far more for some others I presume. Must have gone for 10 mins before he managed to turn it off.

My nomination;
Truck driver with a grader on a low loader parked up beside Tattersalls Pub in Winton. He had the worlds noisiest genny that was about 5m away from my pillow and had it running from 6pm till 4am.
I got 45 minutes sleep (between 4am and 4:45am) before packing up camp and driving 700km or so.
Tool of the week for sure....

We had group of total dickheads camp next to us last year at Blowering reservioir. They were partying till 4am despite the whole campsite telling them to shut-up more than once.
My little lady was 2 at the time and throwing tantrums like a master, so at 6:30am the following morning when she lost it due to lack of sleep I just put her by the swag of the noisiest of the Cu next Tuesdays and told her to go for her life. It's funy how the dickhead behave when they are the ones kept awake - and have to suffer their massive hangovers awake and being screamed at by a 2 year old....
They were quiet the following night.

Got a call from the ranger, the karma bus 🚌 is on its way

GLAD sandwich bags .. Would give satisfaction if you wanted to be realy nasty but not straight away .. Just a tight rolled bunch of them into the diesel tank and put the cap back on, could be 1 or a hundred K's before one floats over to block the fuel pick up, Engine snuffs . Placcy bag floats free ..
Truckie goes through the whole prime and bleed process gets going again X amount of distance snuffs again, repeat repeat repeat till he gets a service guy out, Replace filters fuel and air etc, still happens, Towed into a workshop, blow fuel lines out, service pumps / injectors and it keeps happening .
Many many $$$ and time later lost someone thinks to check the tanks .. We fished 40 Glad bags out of a Truckies main tank once .. Bastards were invisible in the diesel in the tank ..
Turns out he was knocking a blokes wife off that worked at a truck stop 100 k's back down the track .

Haha, bit extreme for a noisy genny. But probably light punishment for jumping the fence... ;D

It was probably his sleeper cab air con unit, they usually have a small diesel motor to run them when the truck is turned off. Before you ask " wouldn't it annoy the truck driver" if you've had to sleep with chiller units turning off and on or cattle moving around in stock crates, the gentle drone of a small motor wouldn't worry you at all.

Bit harsh for just cutting his grass.
