We’ve decided it’s time to upgrade our camper for something a bit flasher after a few good years out of our base model lifestyle. We’ve only owned 2 campers & both being lifestyle, that’s all we know. We love them, they’re sturdy & easy to set up too.
We’d like to stick with Australian made & have been mainly been looking at lifestyle’s, but there is a 2011 Trackabout Safari SV EXTENDER on caravan sales that we like the look of for $10700. We know nothing about this brand, has anyone got any tips on what to look for or good/bad points on the brand? Or even any other good Aussie made campers? We are looking at 10k or less.
Cheers

Trackabout are great. Made in Brisbane by a great family. Highly recommend.

Thanks Charlie, it’s good to hear positives. There’s so many options out there, it makes my head spin!

Give Trackabout a call. They are more than happy to give you info on buying second hand. I talked to them when buying my 15 year old Trackabout and they were more than helpful.

Thanks mate, I’ll do that. Hopefully I can organise to get across next weekend to have a look at it and a handful of others.

On my 2nd Trackabout. Can't fault them.
