I have seen a bloke using a 20 lt bucket with a sealable lid and tap at bottom .. Cheapy 12V car Vac polarity reversed to blow air mounted to the bucket side .. 25 mm PVC pipe adapted to the Vac nozzle and fitted inside the bucket to almost the bottom .. Bubbling air agitates the water and clothes to clean them with a little detergent. ...
Drain off dirty water add clean water and air to rinse ..
This set up was mounted to his vans draw bar .... can be solar powered or car powered while traveling etc
Find or make a set of hand wound wringers to wring the water from the clothes . Removable mounted to the draw bar .

All of the caravans that I have seen are too big to fit in a washing machine , bucket of soapy water, a broom and a hose off normally works . ;D

From what I’m told they use a lot of water and you can’t wash much.

I normally use a whip. Light weight and easy to pack. I find after a while I dont even have to get it out to get the washing done.

we used it at Fraser and in the Flinders and worked pretty good.
