Anyone know where I can get a list of ABC radio frequencies? Would like to be able to quickly find the nearest station for, in particular, TripleJ and ABC Grandstand.
For instance, TripleJ in Brisbane is 107.7 whereas on the Gold Coast its 97.7. Same station broadcast on a different freq. No idea what it is in other locals.

Must have been having a blonde moment. Case closed :)

Having the same desire for ABC radio frequencies, I visited my local ABC Radio office, Cairns at the time, and the friendly lady on the counter gave me a small folded nation wide frequency list - by state, which lives in the sun visor pocket.
It’s very helpful when in whoop-whoop with no internet access. 🤔

I use the triple j app’s frequency finder although it doesn’t seem to zoom in to your location anymore......
I have programmed the seven or so Freq’s that I drove for work.

Push search on the radio its will find something out there , then punch it again to find something else  Geezzzz l love technology .

I downloaded the NSW, VIC and TAS ABC frequencies for when we went to Tassie.
Not a problem in the new tow vehicle... it doesn't have a radio yet...

I have an app on my phone, "Australian radio guide" does all ABC channels eg, ABC local, ABC News as well as SBS radio, triple J, Triple M etc.

The only drawback with this procedure is; it’s amazing how often at 1 minute to the hour I think, “ah the news”. By the time I sort out the auto tuning chaff, and find the auto tuned ABC frequency, the news is finished and an hour later, I’m out of range anyhow. :'( ;D

Sometime auto tune/scam doesn’t stop on the station in marginal area......dial in the exact freq and sometimes it actually picks up Station that scam skips over

Yep. Agree with that. But when the Wallabies are thrashing the All Blacks ;D I like to be able to tune in without spending half the game looking for a local station

A bit of pregame tuning could go a long way into not wasting the game & drinking time :cup:

You wouldn’t need a radio then 😂😂

If you have an ABC shop nearby you should be able to pick one up there also. I had a triple J one in the car for years, which was very handy driving from Victoria to Qld!

I listen to the UHF. Not much through the day, but plenty of banter through the night.
