I found an Apple Ipad in the Finke Gorge National park. If you know of anybody who has lost one, let me know.
Locked, so I cant see who owns it.

If you are near an Apple store take it to them (or phone them on 133622) and they might be able to find the registered owner via the serial number.

Rangers, good idea.
Apple web site says rings the cops. I cant see the Rocky cops doing anything.

Phone Policelink on 131444. They can look up the serial number and advise if it has been reported lost/stolen. Then take it into your local police station for them to return it to the owner.

Random aside note - do people use the Medical ID feature on their iPhones? I have it turned on for this reason (among others). Pity its not available for the iPads...
I would also consider going into an Apple Store if you had one local... pity if you don't though. Police and Facebook would also be worth trying.
Someone out there will appreciate the work you're putting in to reunite them with their iPad! Hopefully you help it find its home. If you have a post on Facebook already perhaps stick it on here so more of us can share it around?
