Title: Bris/Sun coast MYSWAG fundraiser movie night- Cancelled.another date to B set
Post by: MarkVS on July 18, 2017, 08:50:11 AM: With the help of some other Myswagers, Kerry and I have setup a outdoor movie screen, so we can host a Myswag movie night and general get together for those that live in the Brisbane/Sunshine Coast area. ;D ;D :cheers: :cheers:

The intention is to put on a Kids movie at 6 pm, followed by a movie for the adults. (Movies yet to be decided) As well as having a campfire and BBQ for people to use for dinner, general stand around etc.

We were looking to charge $2 per head, with 50% of the money going to the RFDS and the rest to the Myswag server fund.

Where - We live on an acre at Elimbah which is Nth Brisbane, just south of Beerwah. If the weather turns bad, we have an shed setup that we can still put on the movies.

Dates - we have 2 possible dates... Sat 16 Sept, or Sat 23 Sept.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HAVING A FUN NIGHT AND PUTTING SOME FACES TO FORUM NAMES....... please let me know which of the 2 dates work for you (or both) and how many would be coming along.

What to bring- It is BYO chair/bean bag for sitting on the grass, drinks and dinner. We will have the Camp fire and BBQ and utilities for the camp fire cooking as well.

Looking forward to meeting new faces and raising some money for some good causes.

PS anyone wanting to travel some distance and possibly stay the night, let us know. We have plenty of room and I am sure we can accommodate you.

Maybe 'adult' movies was the wrong term.... :D. Movie for the adults...

As I type this, I get the feeling there is something very wrong here! ???
