Hi everyone
Can anyone direct me to an Aussie website (or store that will mail) that sells retail amounts of cable glands...in particular I am after a couple that cater for multiple wire inserts.
Was planning on using cable gland sending wires into and out of the toolbox and rather than use 5 or 6 would rather only use a couple.
Cheers
Damien

Dales133 thanks for the reply, not sure exactly what size I need yet so it's a bit hard....I was hoping to size them up on the net....my CTek 240V charge has a 3 core round cable which is probably 12mm diameter, then some 6 b&sx2.....and some 6mm.....do you have multi wire inserts in yours??? if so I'd be very intersted depending on the sizes

These are big. Easily fit 7 core tralier light wires through with tons of room to spare but will tighten up fine on them.
Ive got 6mm2 through them also.
6 bns would fit no probs

Depending on how you are wiring up whatever you need to, have you thought about non-split convoluted conduit, and nylon gland nuts? The conduit comes in 12mm 16mm 20mm 25mm etc, and the gland nuts are sized to fit them. You can also get 'T' pieces and adaptors, so that you can build a complete harness with branches, if that suits. That's what we used on mine service vehicles, to install all the lights and accessories. The conduit and cable glands makes it a waterproof system, which you wouldn't have just passing the wires through the glands.

Thanks guys...maybe I should be more specific....something like this.....

don't want alll the wires to go through one big hole (wont' be properly waterproof/dustproof) although I could always seal it with a bit of silicone.....they are available from overseas, just wanted to know if anyone had them locally

I recon the actual top piece where the land is is about 16mm and the undersides about 22.
It closes right down to about 7mm screwed all the way up.
Ive probably got 2 or 3 spare. How many were you after(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170508/7393917c26beb46ce975cf74f59c5644.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170508/3ac3b5449922a5f87cabee3d5e52101a.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170508/9a34e3418f3c4571ad66a414e0950cfe.jpg)

I still prefer to use the conduit (harness flex) and a single type gland insert though, for the protection of the wiring.

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated....but I ended up purchasing some locally, wanted black in any case....after all that I needed to pass 3 x twin core 6mms through plus the temperature sensor for the charger so just got a bigger one, closed it up and shoved silicon in it....bit of a waste of a thread but it may help someone else one day....
