Title: Emergency contacts
Post by: jimc1 on April 22, 2017, 09:54:59 PM
Hi all

Many years ago there was a link to a detailed list of emergency contact phone numbers. I have searched but you think I can find it??
Was an embedded excel or word file I think.

Anyone got a link to it?

Just putting the final touches on our 11 week trip!!

Just be aware that document is from 2012.

Should have said the date is 2012, however its a good starting point for who you can call in each state. Most are in satellite dial format, but easy enough to remove the +61 and add a leading 0 for normal mobile/landline phones.

There is large red font on page 4 saying to verify the data as your safety of is your responsibility.

I only need to confirm QLD and NSW numbers for this trip.

Noticed a couple of errors for Qld

SES is 132500

The number listed as SES HQ 137468 is the general Qld State Govt number.

Maybe we could modify & update this list & host it here, with Swaggers updating info & providing new numbers from their travels? For instance, I know for an absolute fact that there are more than 2 hospitals in Qld :D, & isn't there a towing bloke that operates out of Birdsville for breakdowns on the Track?

How do we do that please Mod's ???

I would think all clubs, at least all the clubs I've been in have.
