G'day all
In the local Police feed this morning:
On Friday, February 3, detectives from Coomera Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant in the Nerang area where they located a number of stolen items including a Dreamhaven Crusader Mark 2 Caravan.
Police are seeking assistance from members of the public to identify its owner. Identifying particulars of the caravan have been removed which is hampering police efforts to return this caravan to it’s rightful owners. It is believed that the caravan may have been originally white with blue trim.
If you recognise this caravan, please contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Coomera Criminal Investigation Branch on 5514 7755.

Putting it out there in case it rings a bell with anyone - I reckon the owners (or the Insurance company!) would like their van back, so please feel free to share with any other likely forums.

good thing they were caught, but i think that cop car needs to go over the scales ;D

Are the safety chains crossed?
How many of that model/size trailers could have been stolen? Cant be that hard to trace the owner... actually now I think of it, ITS MINE! :D
-
Hope there was nothing low to pass under, who would pay for the new TV antenna?
-
Chassis number, could run this through the database.

Chassis No. can be resurrected by Forensic staff or a mechanic who knows what to do.
If the No. was on a riveted on plate, and not stamped or welded in/onto the chassis, that'll cause a headache.
There might be job No.s, on the inside, in cupboards maybe.
It'll take some work, but it's not impossible.

Oops, missed that bit

The "rightful owner" is probably now an insurance company.....

You'd be AMAZED at how many aren't insured.

How many stolen "Dreamhaven Crusader Mark 2 Caravan" could there be. Vin number or not, it couldn't be that hard to find an owner. Surely??
-
It might have been that bad the owner doesnt want it back and never thought [ hoped ] it would ever get found .
I recall a local bloke had a lemon that got stolen that was found 5 years later on a country cousins farm ;
