Post by: dales133 on December 16, 2016, 06:23:59 AM
Im in the process of trying to find a good wheel clamp to fit over 265 75 16s.

A good hole saw and drill couple of holes in the concrete slab, then cement in a Hi tensile chain or bury a couple of 500 mm star pickets into the ground with a length of fat hi tensile chain welded to them .And good locks " Attached in an awkward spot to get at " .
Either way a battery operated grinder would cut open / off most anything pretty quick for a determined thief ..
Have good insurance and a GPS tracker fitted to the camper .
Ohh and secure those safety chains would help too     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9tbSzWkY1s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9tbSzWkY1s)
Think the gas bottle holder needs to be worked on a bit too . Bit loose,  when that  dodgy bloke gets the trailer home .... Is it fixed yet ???  ;D ;D

Cheers edz.
I made my safty chains removable for that very reason.
Ive got a cheapy aldi tracker for now but will upgrade it when i can.
Still pretty keen on a decent clamp for when i leave it somewhere.
Open to any suggestions though

Does the ALDI tracker still work? If so, what SIM are you using?

Any chance of a pic of the ALDI one? I never got the chance to see one.

I picked up a wheel clamp from Rays that does fit 265/75 tyres.
