Its just an initiation for when he moves into the new place. Although an asphalting company told me the other day they were quoting some private work out that way for sealing up a road

By 'Victorian' I was referring to the British era not south eastern Australian geography. and by 'public school' I was again referring to the British definition, not the Australian. Sounds like Patrol forum.. was great for many years...or a certain 4WD magazine forum, where a particular moderator changes your posts to read how he wants it to sound, and even goes as far as changing the forums rules to back up what he's doing.

I did go back briefly just to start deleting my old trip reports from that forum, but power hungry mod saw what I was doing and locked me out.

I still follow LCOOL and still find lots of helpful info there, but agree the search function is crap.
I can't go on the site and show you, but all you had to do was change one criteria in the search function and it let you search for specifics instead of a vague idea of what you wanted..
Someone who's still a member will be along to show you how !!

I'm a member on LCOOL, have found it to be an excellent technical forum.as good a technical forum it may be, certain people can be quite rude at times with the way they moderate that place. Apparently I was going there be responsible for all the 105 series in Australian getting stolen with one thread I posted up there...I ended up deleting the thread due to that moderators carry on, but over a dozen members have approached me to help them out via P.M for the technical info I removed. I refuse to put the thread back up there again, and can't be bothered documenting any more how to threads for that forum anymore due to that mods response.
As an Admin here, I admire their stance, there are no religious or political threads over there.

Some of them also seem quite "sensitive". Nissan at the best of times is a taboo word. Now with the y62 don't even consider a comparison of the 2. Apperantly they don't even compare, even though a 200 has a option of its own petrol V8.
