The pub and club meals are all pretty good.  shame the best one is now closed thanks to our Council being a bunch of tight wad idiots, so you can't get a feed at what was the Deep Sea Fishing Club anymore.  Depends I guess where your staying and where the sports are but good feeds at any of them.

And forget going to the Tourist Information Centre, which is now in a room literally behind the Big Banana, there is about as much info there as there is in the Council Chambers.  The workers there are still great and will give you verbal info but forget anything else.

Fishermans Co-op for fish and chips... Know it's not a pub meal, but it's our must do whenever we are down there.

Thanks all staying at north coast holiday park but have vehicle. The sport is at Coffs international stadium.
Thanks all for the ideas.   Just trying to get some local advice for eating options.  I told the kids I could cook and got death stares.

From where your staying, the Greenhouse has a good set up for families, play room for the kids, or go the other way into town and for the other pubs, takeaways, restaurants etc.

The International sports grounds is out by itself, handy to the ambulance Station and Hospital and across the road from the Crematorium.  For somewhere to eat the closes would be the Service Centre  which has the usual Maccas and other fast foods and coffees.  For real food either try around the Jetty area or Sawtell.

I called into the Surf Club last year and didn't think it was a bad feed.

Go for a trip out to a little place called Red Rock.
About 20-30 min north of Coffs.

The bowling club puts on a nice meal at a reasonable cost.

Dam! That used to be our main port of call whenever we passed through Coffs :(. Was a nice spot

was up there the week before last, got to our favourite thai places anywhere - win's thai in moonee street. yacht club  just before the jetty is good, latitude is good. if you have time, try Bellingen - the cafes down church street are brilliant - try the black bear for breakfast. sawtell is good as well, cafes up near the commonwealth bank open early and close late

Best location in Coffs and served the tourist industry as well.  No idea who or what will go there now.

When did this close. We ate there on Christmas Eve last year and it hadn't been reopened long. It was a great feed.

Was only reopened for about a month or two, enough time for the local mayor try to make it the Local Members fault it had to close.
