Title: Mattress upgrade for Goldstream Wing III

Hi All,

First time posting on this forum, looking for advice on new Goldstream Wing III mattress upgrades.  We picked up our new trailer and went away last weekend for maiden trip, decided to take self inflating mattress as a topper for the foam mattress supplied with trailer (new) as we found it very firm and were steered away from the standard inner spring when ordering.

can anyone suggest a suitable mattress as an upgrade taking into account the height limitations when top is down?

Any advice or prior experience from owners would be appreciated.

Beds Direct definitely we have Re-Creation Ultimate in our Modcon.
I am 190cm and about 110kg the mattress is super comfy for me.
We purchased it in our way to Tassie for a 2 week holiday, we left Sydney with no mattress in the camper picked up and installed it on the way to the car ferry sight  unseen.     Big Gamble.     I can't fault it and we probably spend 40  nights of the year sleeping on it . Worth every cent.

Thanks Ronnie,

I have a mate with the pillow top inner spring and he has said its very good.  Only issue i have is i'm not sure what the maximum thickness of the mattress can be with the wind down roof.
