I'll go and have a look around. Doesn't mean anything will be any cheaper though.

Yep, going for a stickybeak on Saturday. To me it's the better of the 4wd/camping shows.

Going with a mate on Thursday, I still enjoy a wander around looking (drooling at some things) at what is available. I also find some bits and pieces there that are hard to find in any one shop.

I was intending to go to compare a couple of different campers I was interested in, but then I came across a used one which was too good to pass up.

Now I've not so much reason to go to the Melbourne leisure fest, but I reckon I will get along to the one in Bendigo in November. I will probably need some cooking gear and maybe one or two other bits and pieces. It's usually good value just to have a sticky beak at what's available.

This dude used to make tents for most big players before they started doing it inhouse.. apparently been round for decades.
Had him do work for me, and never a problem.. and 10 mins from home ;D

Besides Bird's Local Bloke, there's also ADP Caravan Services in Kilsyth.
Off Canterbury Rd., opposite the Kilsyth Bargain Centre.

Depends on where in Melbourne you live, and you haven't helped us by including a suburb or area in your request or details in your forum id.
