Apon setting up my camel softfloor yesterday I found all but 2 panels have holes in them from a stowaway vermin.
Little Sh#t.
It must've got access when I last took out the ct about 2 months ago.
And proceeded to chew its way out.
Dammit 😠

Agree. Do they? Never thought to check for that.

I'm guessing it's covered under "accidental" damage.
I phoned them yesterday afternoon to start the process
and they took my excess already.
Taking it to a local canvas guy for a quote on Monday after work.
Hopefully it will be a painless event.
I'm going to blank off the hole it used to move from the tub area to the tent area. It's a grab point to lift the hatch in the bed base.
Cheers

Interesting. As damage from animals are not usually covered with House & Contents insurance.

where's he say H&C insurance I didn't see it mentioned, I read it as he's got his camper trailer insured and he's claiming it through that.

Club4x4 exclude rats/animals eating anything and not covered.

I believe he was only using H&C insurance as a reference.

Correct Loanrangie - I'm not suggesting he is claiming on the H&C...
I have just had some experience with H&C insurance where often it specifically excludes damage from animals (some may say that termites are animals, so you could claim against termite invasion).
- so it will be interesting to see if the CT insurance is the same. Should have made myself clearer then...
