Hi People;
Has anyone had any experience with Gecko bug killers?
I an considering purchasing a rechargeable 4watt one for camping and I was wondering what you experience people thought bout them.
-
Yep got a few here, We have the Indonesian brand, bit on the noisy side though at night, and leave a bit of a mess, never had to recharge any of them as they seem to just go on for ever and keep on regenerating ..
Biggest thing is the bastards jump around a bit at night and scare the women .. ;D

We just use Crawly Cruncher - one spay and they die.
-
Our gecko killer is pure Burmese - very efficient but tends to leave the heads. I'm guessing punctuation has confused what you are after.

Hey Edz, GBC.
Do you have to find them in the morning or do they just hang around where the camper is?
Can't imagine they'd take up much room either, but fragile, need to be correctly packed when not in use?
 :cup: >:D

The whole world knows where a Burmese is - they know how to announce themselves. Stuffed if I'd take it camping. I married into cats .....
-
I might assume then that no one has used these devices.
Oh well, just purchased one and I'm in the process of testing it out.
Ill let you know how it goes.
-
You're going to need a cat board....

I purchased one last year from Bunnings in Swan Hill after being invaded by hundreds of gnats coming in every zipper end in the Barmah Forest. Tried it out a couple of nights, it certainly produces a heap of crispy bugs but don't know yet how it goes competing with the lights in the camper. Haven't needed to use it since. I look forward to hearing your experience.
