seems cheap......
I just ordered an MSA DS45. I paid a heck of allot more than what those prices are. Although I really didn't want to wait for it.
I would definitely give it a shot if the sizes work for you.

"$240 is a 40% deposit to hold a 40L Drop down fridge slide the owing 60% is due when stock is avaible."
Err, ok.
So total is $600 (plus delivery?)

Cheaper than the main brands but not dirt cheap

Wtf
The other day when i saw this pop up on myswag i looked on there site and it was $399
Dimensions showed it would fit a 40 ltr fridge now its saying 600
Thought it was a good buy at 399 now u would have to wonder

Im glad i made my own x2 tilt fridge slides for under $400 for both, they may not be fancy but they work well

OK. When I first looked at this the 40 ltr was $300 with a 30% discount plus delivery of $20. What a bargain. Website didn't have any contact details. Managed to find some for the store and sent a question to it but only came back as undelivered. The saying goes if it looks too good to be true.... Now I see its jumped to $600 but at least there is now some contact details. Think I'll wait some before I buy.

I was sceptical as well but for the price I took the plung and mine works great , I can't compare it to others as its my first drop down , but it sure has made life easier for my wife . I have an 80ltr waeco so as you can imagine I jumped at this one , only had it a couple of weeks , but it's been fine in that time .

Hi Donald,

I'm glad someone has posted that they have bought and received one of these slides.

I jumped in and bought one when this topic first started and was beginning to wonder if it was to good to be true and I had been scammed.

A couple of emails to the vendor have bounced back

I t would be great if you could post up some picks of your slide.

Regards,

Cliff

I found an email address at the start and sent a message that has bounced back since sent. I thought it was dodgy.

Great first post Donald. So you seem to be the only person that has received one to date. Any pics of the unit and feedback on delivery time, quality of the unit, service from the trader and so on?

Cheers!

I've had an MSA dropslide for a few years and recently the locking pin on the slide broke. I contacted MSA by email with a couple of pics to ask how I could fix it myself as it had fell to bits. Straight away they said they would send me a new track which arrived about 5 days later and I installed it myself. Great service and it was good to see a company back it's product.

Bit more digging and it is the Clearview easy slide and they have lifted the images from the Drifta website here http://www.drifta.com.au/drifta-drop-slides/ (http://www.drifta.com.au/drifta-drop-slides/)

Hello All,
My name is Ashley Julien
I am the owner of outback supplies, I have been aware if this post for some time and tonight i decided to jump on and just introduce my self.
Few things we had problems with, When we first set up the price i had up was the deposit price not the full price (error my end when reading my paper work)
This has been all cleared up now and the price that is shown is the price we no longer accept 40% unless the customer contacts us.
Id love to hear your opinion of the website and if you have any tips we should change?
We also had a error in the contact page from when we made the website, it has since been fixed so feel free to drop us a email.

Thanks

Good to see you make you presence known, a few things from my perspective,
I'd try and get some original photo's, not really a good look when you are using competitors images. If you are drop shipping then maybe get some customers to send in some pics to use.
I'd maybe include an "about us" section on your website with a link to your facebook page as the lack of information on your site does make it look a little suspicious.
Maybe a bit of product organisation into categories also wouldn't go astray as it's all a bit random at the moment.

Probably also be good to let people here know that the code CHILLY30 is currently bringing the price down to $455 for the drop slide.

So further to this post, I was told by Ashley of Outback Supplies his stock would arrive last week and he would post out on Monday. I asked for an update and have been fobbed off (told to hold tight).

Questions previously posted on Outback Supplies Facebook about the fact they are using images from the Drifta website for these slides have been deleted.

There is also pictures on the Facebook page sprucing drawers with images taken from supercenter website with logos removed

Would suggest caution on ordering anything from these guys

Bit of an update.

I have sent lots of emails requesting an oder states update. Finally got a reply yesterday to say the fridge slide has been sent.

I then asked for a tracking number but got no answer. Order status on outback supplies website still says unfulfilled.

Dodgy!!

So you can safely assume that the company owners are still monitoring this thread....   but no comments. ... very poor ethics ....

Wow, scary that scammers go to the length that they do these days.

A while back I bought a spit via Ebay. It was a very professional advert, just over half the price of others listed. The next day Ebay themselves cancelled the order. I was surprised they protected me in that manner. A few days later the seller advertised again, I emailed them asking for proof that they were genuine sellers and they never replied.

thanks for the advice tryAgain
will take it into mind
we dont drop ship i have tried it forebear wasnt a fan,
What I am doing is
when i started i sold the solar kits then lost some money on the sales. now what i am doing is because we actually sell alot of gear im taking 40% deposits (remember this come up before because the website had the error) then i make a order to my suppliers once a week. once i get the goods via post i then collect the owing 60% and post the goods
only problem im having is it takes a while to get stuff from china.

as for the images of the draws i am yet to actually get any of them. so im just using suppliers photos (most of my photos are suppliers im not the best with a camera i actually prefer being in a 4wd my self.

as for the draws
my supplier is the manufacture (i deal with an agent directly with them) they do supply Supacentre and other large sellers as they have  a patent on the draws,
i did talk to Supacentre and they said they have there own factory i cant confirm if this is true or not but my supplier said they do and has sent a copy of the Patent

Im not going to lie i did have bad luck on a few orders iv sold so far but i will get past it as i have said before and will say it again we are here to stay.

Can you confirm that you are experiencing delays in fulfilling orders and shipping them.....   because (A) you are waiting on enough customers' 40% deposits to fund the order with China; and/or (B), you are experiencing delays in enough orders coming in to fill a 20' container; or LCL?

So has anyone actually received there Fridge slide? Besides Donald
I have done an ABN check on this company and its not listed. Ashley has apparently refunded a guys money and quoted an ABN for a company that is in SA.
the guy Donald that has said he has received his slide has gone very quite, wouldn't you think that he would post a picture I know if I got mine I would be.
I think this guy is a scammer.
He will not supply tracking numbers to buyers, time to get the police involved I think.

Thanks for the heads up.

I spoke to him last night and have recieved notification of a full refund.

It is a bit of a shame really because for the price a drop slide delivered would have been my preferred option.

Will keep watching to see how he goes

here's the thing... if it eventually turns out that he is on the up and up... and is just dealing with bad communication and delivery issues on a first order from a new vendor. Then at least, once you have your $$$ back, then you can make a decision on what to do when the slides eventually do arrive. (assuming that they do eventually show up)
