Was real wet a few weeks back.

Camp down by the creek on the common at Innamincka. if you want to stay near the Corner Store then just across the road is pretty level.

Otherwise, just drive off the road and set up.

I use this site to find out road conditions in Northern SA as it says it will change as the conditions do. It is spectacular country

was there 2 weeks ago..........north of innaminka via cordillo downs was closed and locals said likely to remain so for some time due to road works.

camerons corner etc were all easily passable then but they have had more rain.........the website posted was as acurate as any other resource.

I agree with the above. Check the SA roads website daily.
We did the Strezelecki to the corner on Tuesday. All roads open and the Strez was in great condition except for some corrugations on the section between Merti Merti and the corner. BUT, Light rain over night meant all sorts of roads were closed the next morning. We took the middle road through Sturt NP as it was still open but I reckon it should have been closed too. Little warning before we hit thick mud. The missus was driving and did well to keep the trailer from jackknifing. It was only a short section and we didn't get stuck but it was pretty hair-raising there for a while. We the took the silver city hwy north from there to Noccundra and it was fine.

edit: spelling

Thanks guys. We're heading out that way tomorrow. Locals say it's ok too so we have just camped up at Tibooburra for the night to refuel, wash and get another good pub feed into us.
Cheers.
