Hi Everyone,
We are on our trip from Cairns to the Southern States which we try to do yearly & at this time of year we do not expect rain & floods in Western Qld but this year has been a different story with more than expected rain which is really good relief for the drought effected Farmers.
What I am asking has anyone been on the above mentioned roads since the rain as that is the way we are wanting to go home, was thinking about Longreach as well but not so sure now. We will be sticking to the bitumen but as we all know that can go under water too.
The time we are expecting to travel through is begging of Sept. Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

We did it 3 weeks ago and all was good but sorry that's the only update I can help with.
Have a look on the Qld roads website that's pretty good I found
