Anyone here checked these jiggers out? Seem like a good thing. Saw an add in the 'hats' mag from a mob called Bubba rope. They call it a Gator claw.
Reckon it maybe a safer and easier way to join 2 snatch straps and definitly a lighter item to carry around.

I have made my own lightweight soft shackles for other purposes, they are a pretty easy DIY project if you know how to splice rope.
Here is a good link - http://l-36.com/soft_shackle_9.php (http://l-36.com/soft_shackle_9.php) and a good youtube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C8ZWRpUNPU (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C8ZWRpUNPU)

Thanks KB. I'll take a gold star out of petty cash.

That's even funnier!
aren't normal shackles only bout $25?
Been years since I bought one.. why would you pay Hunge?? is it the "I've got one you don't" factor ???

Interesting to know the life span when used on a aftermarket rated recovery points with sharper/squarer edges. A few snatches and I'd be looking for a new one through abrasion.
Brilliant idea if you are going to make your own cheaply. Takes away the flying missile of a shackle IF it did let go.

That's what I was getting at (yea should have written it).. My metal ones are 15+yrs old.

yea, I can see that being a good thing, but considering the cost to make is probably bout $10-15?

Yep, will be sticking to my shackles. Would rather spend the money on a new snatch strap more regularly tbh.

Unless GG wants to add this line to his wire security locks ;)

No way that's genuine 6B&S and beware of cheap imitations.
