Should have gone in the 10 years time thread... but exciting times ahead. Some clever Aussies have got a step nearer to creating Lithium batteries with 2500-3500 Watt hour/kg capacitys vs the current 100-250 Wh/kg for Li-ion That's electric vehicle ranges of 500-800km and eons of power at camp.
The only questions left now are how much solar would I need to charge it and will 6B&S cable be adequate?

That would be good. Imagine ten times longer on a single charge.

Probably take twice as long to fill it back up again though.
Idea seems ok. It's just lacking some essential details.
