great start. 10-0 and we still need a goal kicker
-
I think we're doing OK.... although we seem to be treating it more like a game of football with all the bloody kicking we're doing...
Ed the Pom...
-
Poms 19-13 Australia half time. Australia's game to lose and they are doing a pretty good job of losing it.
-
The Frog is not helping!
-
Can't blame the ref for the Wallabies playing so stupid. And the Poms just go back to what they excell at, winning by the boot.
-
Hoopers dangerous for us...
-
39-28. Well lost Wallabies
-
Make that 39...
Does help being able to kick though; we got a few extra points for the conversions which you didn't pick up.
-
I can't remember the last time we had a consistent goal kicker, in a game like Union when the boot so regularly wins a game it makes sense to have a goal kicker. It seems to be the difference in the Southern and Northern hemispheres in the game. Southern generally likes to run the ball and northern like to kick goals.
-
Reduce the penalty kicks to 1 point !!
-
After the first two try's I thought The Wobblies were into a good win but they threw it away. The missed conversions didn't help. England returned to type and bashed it up the middle and came away with points when the went into the Aus half.
Don't blame the number of points for a penalty. Blame the players for giving them away. How many Aussie points scored off penalties compared to the English? Though I don't get how the refs can pick up players for lying on the ball/entering from the side, but be completely blind to Richie McCaw for the majority of his career.
I think the English front row duped the ref at the scrum though for the yellow card.
-
I like everyone love our wallabies....
But....england played better football
-
Continually knock the ball on / turn it over and give away to many penalties will see any team lose a game. They are still the Woeful Wallabies to me currently...promising in attack at times, but don't deliver on the day everywhere else.
-
Watching the Wallabies is a bit like us poor blues supporters watching origin. Just when you think they look ok and might get a win the opposition just pick up their game.
-
Couldn't really say the Poms picked up their game as much as the Wallabies just dropped theirs

Yes, the Wallabies let it get away unfortunately. I still think a Northern Hemisphere ref is not suited to Oz and Kiwi rugby in particular.
-
Have a bad feeling about this one! Hope I'm wrong. Go Wallabies!!!!
-
They play about as good as a A-grade School team. ::)

I could accept the penalty reversal if the Poms had at least a yellow card for the choke tackle. Protect the player first.
-
Tough stuff!
-
Yeah far better contest but I think the Poms have out played the Wallabies. Could be a great second half
-
Poms too good, particularly in defense.
-
Looks like my England shirt will get worn to work again on Monday :-)
-
Better team definitely won. Wallabies had plenty of chances but no organisation to finish it off.
-
Their great defense and our lack of imaginative attack meant the better team definitely won...
-
Same old same old from the Woeful Wallabies...continue to drop the ball and shocking passes like you'd see in an under 13's game. They've not much in attack from them either and the bad passing doesn't help that....20 phases within the 10mtr line of the Poms try line and they couldn't get over it...only to drop the ball once again. I'm not much of a union watcher and only get to watch it when tests are on free to air...the Wallabies aren't making me want to continue following the sport the way they keep playing.
-
The Poms are still here to play
-
Good game and the better team won. Wallabies found lacking in a few places, like defence and a radar goal kicker. Eddie Jones has clearly shown what a great coach he is and what he can make of a team when he is allowed to be the coach.
-
Wallabies playing without brains yet again.
A side full of skill but fair dinkum they are a brain dead lot. They had no read on that game.
Lots will say it was a good game but Australia just are hopeless at reading the game situation and responding appropriately.
Well played England. Grrrrrr

Could be said they were playing without a General on the field call direction or the shots
