Herberton and the Atherton Tableands.
Raining all day, with dark and cloudy sky, odd gusts of wind, but otherwise fine.

Here on the Tweed, about 23*C a bit of scattered dark cloud blue skies and about a 10kt breeze with a front coming up from The S,SW, Nice day though .

In Perth we have a strong cold front go through this morning. About 25mm in my guage in the southern suburbs but more elsewhere, particularly in the south-west.
Lots of wind and that means trees down etc so power has been out in lots of places, at my house for three hours

We need rain!

Perth 19 degrees, rain and wind.
Give me summer.
-

We had massive storms in Perth and the Southwest on Saturday, another front heading through tonight/tomorrow morning, batten down the hatches :(
From DFES:
The front is likely to cause WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WINDS to 100 kilometres per hour that could result in DAMAGE TO HOMES AND PROPERTY. In isolated areas DANGEROUS GUSTS in excess of 125 kilometres per hour could cause SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION to homes and property.
DAMAGING WINDS are expected to develop about the Southwest Capes from late Monday evening and will extend through the remainder of the warning area during the early hours of Tuesday morning and are most likely about coastal areas. Conditions are expected to ease quickly after the passage of the front.
HIGHER THAN NORMAL TIDES may cause FLOODING OF LOW-LYING COASTAL AREAS particularly along the west coast during Tuesday morning around the time of high tide.
DANGEROUS SURF CONDITIONS which could cause some beach erosion are also likely.
HEAVY RAINFALL that may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible with the passage of the cold front, with the heaviest falls expected in western parts of the warning area.

Hey FJ, that doesn't sound good mate, stay safe.

More rain and wind, but nothing too serious.
Although it slowed me down on my push bike this morning.

Not as bad as they were forecasting thankfully :D, a heap of rain overnight but the wind was nowhere near as bad as Saturday's storms. Most of it has past now, just wet and miserable lol
