Title: New Travelander Lantrex rear fold
Post by: jeffreyks on May 08, 2016, 09:09:13 PM
Has anyone seen one in the flesh? Chassis design sounds interesting, a mix of carbon fibre and Kevlar?

A friend has one on the Sunny Coast (it may be the model before this one).

They have had a few issues with the canvas as the Canvas was all made overseas to reduce cost of the camper (not sure if they are still doing it).

Very expensive for what you get but (my opinion anyway).

These have only just been released I thought? It's not their slide on camper on a trailer it's a new design all together.

Yeh I got an email back from them today. Pricing looks pretty good I thought for what you get compared to others. They don't have a price on a boat loader as yet which is one thing I am after so will be interesting to see.

Thanks for posting. ...   it appears on the "optional accessories" list that the stove they have is metho?   Is that right??     My understanding is that methos are hopeless at producing btus - compared to LPG....    Is that about right??
