Title: Barcaldine Showgrounds

Hello members,I'm doing some research on low cost places to stay on our future trip but can't find anything current on the Showgrounds at Barcaldine the was some dispute from what I read,about the caravan parks complaining of unfair practices by council, has anyone stayed there recently? Glenn

G,Day G,DAIY, Hi and welcome to the forum, have a look at this list, about 10 pages of it I think . It should give you a few  options that might be along or around the areas you might be travelling . The pricing may have changed a little given from a few years ago.

Could only find this from a couple of year ago, shouldnt be much different or best to call ahead .
Showground fees = $17 unpowered & $25 powered ... set by council to equal the local van parks
The showground has minimal showers / toilets, NO laundry or other facilities
The showgrounds tonight has 4 or 5 vans inside the fence - says it all  :
