Hi all, I have a bt50 xtr and I'm going to swap the tub out for an ally tray. Length will be 1800 but I need to decide on width. Duratray have an option of 1835 or 1900 wide. If anyone has any experience with this I would like to hear about it.
1835 - concern, is it too skinny for wheel track?
1900 - will I have too much tray in side mirrors?
I had a triple m (1860 wide) tray on the old model bt - it was ok if not a bit too much overhang width wise.
Thanks
Ash

Mate you're only looking at 32mm a side. Not much diff really. If you're concerned with the rear veiw you can always dummy up a side with something and check it from drivers seat.

I have a 1900mm Duratray on the back of my '13 BT50. It sticks out 65mm either side of the cab.
I have no issues with the width at all and have no problem with the mirrors width, unless I'm borrowing my mates skinny trailer and then I can only see it when I turn.
65mm is bugger all really, this is what it looks like from behind the wheel.

Thanks Hoyks - the 1900w doesn't seem to look out of place.

Have a look at the photos in the attached link. The canopy on my BT50 is 1930mm wide. Found the standard mirrors were a pain in the butt and have now replaced with Clearview which made a huge difference, especially with a trailer.

Hijacking this thread a bit ... anyone with an amarok and a 1950 or 2000mm wide tray/canopy?
The amarok is quite wide so I'm sure a 1900 is fine but not sure about 2000.
