My wife likes the air moving over her most nights. Does anyone have a 12v fan in their Ultimate?
How did you mount it and what brand was it please?
Many thanks for any help offered.
Cheers
Shane

I use the Caframo 807 Sirocco. 2 conduit clips screwed on the back and then just clipped on the centre bow. Mounting idea from http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=6508.50 (http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=6508.50) (toward the bottom of the page).

I've got a tribe of those sort of fans mate, but they usually are blowing hot air. Dad get me this, honey have you done that ;D
Looking for something quieter and more effective.

Airflow is excellent for the size of the fan but as important for me is that it is quiet. It has 3 speeds and 3 auto timers, plus can be pointed in any direction - but it does not oscillate. There are a number of other fan suggestions in that thread I linked to but the cafremo, although expensive, seems to get good reviews from everyone that has used it.

Hi don't have an Ultimate, but do have a Caframo Sirocco 12V fan and it is very, very good. I also saw this on Facebook this week. No idea if its suitable, but a heck of a lot cheaper! [url]http://www.bunnings.com.au/mistral-40cm-12v-white-desk-fan_p4441703/url]
Cheers!

We use one of these in our Ulti and its powerful enough on low as its about the same size as a typical 240v unit that you see in Bunnings etc. I think it pulls around 1 amp from memory when I tested on a low setting.

I think we bought ours on Amazon though as they were not available here at the time.
