RTM is part of the Jaycar conglomerate. The range of gear is pretty good, the prices are higher than you'd pay online, but if you need what you want there and then, they are reasonable. Staff are a bit of a lucky dip. Some know what they are talking about and are very helpful, others wouldnt know the difference between a deep cycle battery and a deep fryer.

yeah i heard they were part of Jaycar....staff a bit like other shops i suppose....cheers

On their webpage they have a propane heater for $59....approx $10 dearer than elsewhere !! Like always, know your prices !

There is a physical outlet at Granville in Sydney. Been in there twice to look at some stuff. Haven't purchased there yet.

There is a shop in Mackay. I've been in there a couple of times and I will rate them an "average". Prices aren't cheap, range is ok, Quality ( of the stuff I bought) is questionable (like cheap eBay kinda stuff)
I purchased a double pole 12v circuit breaker from them 50amp, I think and the thing is the biggest POS, crappy contacts that don't make properly when switched.
I don't make a point of going in there anymore, even for a look. I personally think there are better places to shop.

There is one here in Townsville. Most of the product stock is actually jaycar stuff, then there's some more specialty boating and caravaning pieces. I bought an abs plastic battery tray off them the first time I went in and paid $19.95. Went over to Freddy's after that and saw the exact same tray (even same brand) for $9.95. Pays to check prices.

awesome...thanks for the input guys.... ;D

Just been looking at their website and good from an interest perspective but looks like ARB pricing for Jaycar quality.
